As well as being a strategic location between the D-Day beaches and Caen, our hotel is also the ideal place from which to explore Bayeux, capital of the Bessin district and the first town in France to be liberated in June 1944.

Its excellent location at the heart of Normandy will allow you to easily discover the D-Day beaches, the many châteaux and gardens of the Calvados department, the nostalgic seaside resorts of the Côte Fleurie, as well as the wonder of wonders that is Mont Saint-Michel.

"Charmingly Delightful Hotel"

Hotel Villa Lara is the most wonderful hotel. The staff goes above & beyond to make your stay with them both special & unforgettable. A perfect location with beautiful, comfortable rooms with all the amenities. We can't imagine staying anywhere else in Normandy. Five star plus!

Exception service and accommodations. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and assisted at every turn by the marvelous staff. Last minute dinner reservations were no problem. We enjoyed the comfort and appointments of our room with a view of the abbey. A great location to explore Normand
